Founders Field Trip

For my position as Beer Rhetorics Evangelist and my position as Professional Writing Field Trip Coordinator, I organized a trip to Founders Brewing Company in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This involved communicating with our alumnus, Sarah Aldrich, who works as Founders’ Marketing Coordinator and her boss (founder of Founders), Dave Engbers to get a tour.

In addition to the work I did to organize this field trip, I also wrote a blog entry for the Beer Rhetorics website. This piece was created to display proudly our first field trip, as well as explain the rhetorical purposes of why we went to this brewery. The trip was about meeting alumni, making connections, and the rhetoric that goes with craft beer.
